Back to School... er... a certain network I call home

Now that I am back in exciting Hollywood I think it is time to start blogging again. I'm actually taking a quick break from revising my novel (getting better every day) in order to work. Work? It's amazing to think that I make in a small fraction of a day is what I'd make in a full day of temping. I enjoy seeing my time valued in different ways. $0/hour. $10/hour... Good thing I've learned how to survive on almost nothing. The economic depression is probably entirely my fault, and the fault of my voluntarily unemployed friends. So far this year, the amount of money I have spent at the mall or a clothing store? $0. Luckily, I am currently propping up the airline industry

While working on my novel on the East Coast, I signed up to temp again to see if I could get placed anywhere interesting. But when they tried to place me at Pepperidge Farm, I ran away screaming. You probably remember my first time there. It inspired my first post for this blog. Guess I don't have the cajones to go back.

Speaking of this blog, I'm curious to know who is still reading this thing, since I dropped off with no notice because my life got too boring. I suppose it's just the few friends who added me into their readers and then people searching for Natalie Portman's boyfriend (sorry folks - no answers here).

I'm really happy to be back at a TV network I consider to be home. I worked there for two point five years out of college. I always see so many familiar faces - mostly people from the softball league. I suppose there are not that many buildings in the world that I could walk into and know so many people. And get bubble tea.

Today, I saw Analeigh from America's Next Top Model. That's now the second ANTM contestant I've seen at work (in two different buildings - the other was Fatima in NYC). Very exciting day at work.

Oh, if I didn't subscribe I don't think I'd remember to check ANYONE'S blog. Have fun at your new position!

Very exciting, indeed. Have fun on the West Coast...and eat some good food for me, okay?

I'm reading, too, and without an RSS reader.

Has anything changed about the old 'hood? Is my castle still standing?
